This Privacy Policy applies to the Orlumi mobile application ("Application"),
available on iOS, developed by the Orlumi Team. By using the Application, you
agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
Information Collection and Use
The Application may collect certain information automatically when you
download and use it, including:
- Your device model and operating system version
- Usage data (features used, screens viewed, session duration)
- App settings and preferences
- Crash reports and diagnostic data for app stability
Personal & Session Data You Provide
What We Collect
- Your name or nickname, used to personalize the app and your Coach
- Focus areas and goals you choose, such as full face, forehead, eye area, cheeks, or jaw
- Session history, including rituals and exercises completed, sets, reps, and minutes practiced
- Journey data such as streaks, best streak, sessions, weekly goal, and weekly summaries
- Program progress, favorites, and ritual or exercise settings
- Messages you send to the Coach and the Coach's replies
- Subscription and account information
- Feedback or support messages you send us
How We Use This Data
- To guide you through rituals and exercises and give live feedback during a session
- To recommend your daily ritual and suggest exercises through the Coach
- To track your streak, sessions, and minutes and generate your weekly summary
- To save your progress, favorites, and personal settings
- To improve app performance and feature quality
- To troubleshoot technical issues and enhance the user experience
- To process and manage your subscription
Camera & Face Data
The camera is only used during exercises with live feedback.
Orlumi asks for front camera access so it can follow the position of facial
features — such as your eyes, brows, mouth, and jaw — and tell how far you are
moving during an exercise. You can turn camera access off at any time in iOS
Settings, and you can still follow exercises without it.
- Processed on your device: camera frames and face movement data are analyzed entirely on your iPhone
- Never recorded or uploaded: we do not record, save, or send video, photos, or face data to our servers or anyone else
- Discarded immediately: face movement data is used only in the moment to count reps and give cues, then discarded — it is not stored after the exercise ends
- Only results are kept: such as the exercise completed, reps, and time spent
- Never shared: face data is never sold, shared with third parties, or used for advertising or marketing
- Not used to identify you: face data is not used for facial recognition, identity verification, or to build a profile of your appearance
The Coach
The Coach is powered by an AI service. When you message the
Coach, or when your weekly summary is created, the relevant text — such as your
message, your first name, your focus areas, and a summary of your recent
sessions — is sent securely to our AI service provider to generate a reply.
- Camera images and face data are never sent to the Coach
- Coach conversations are used only to provide the Coach feature to you
- Our provider is not permitted to use your conversations to train its models or for advertising
- Please don't share sensitive personal, medical, or financial information in Coach messages
- You can ask us to delete your Coach conversation history at any time
Microphone & Audio
Orlumi does not record your voice. If a future feature needs microphone access,
we will ask for permission first and update this policy.
Your Data Is Private
We keep your data focused on your practice. Your session
history, journey, and Coach conversations are:
- Stored on your device and, where needed for features like the Coach and syncing, on our secure servers
- Encrypted in transit
- Never sold to third parties
- Never shared with employers, insurers, or advertisers
- Deletable at any time by contacting support
Third-Party Services
We may use third-party services to help operate and improve the application. These services
may have access to anonymized or aggregated data only, except where needed to provide the
specific service listed.
The Application uses the following third-party services:
- RevenueCat (for subscription management)
- Apple Analytics / Firebase (for app performance monitoring)
- Crashlytics (for stability reporting and bug tracking)
- An AI language model provider (to generate Coach replies and weekly summaries, as described above)
Platform-Specific Information
iOS (Apple App Store)
- Subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID and App Store account
- Camera permissions are controlled through iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Camera
- Apple may collect diagnostic and usage data in accordance with its own privacy policy
- iCloud backup may include app data if enabled on your device
Data Storage and Security
Local & Cloud Storage
- Your session history, journey, and preferences are stored locally on your device, and synced to our servers where needed to keep your progress and Coach working.
- Camera images and face data are never stored, locally or on our servers.
- We do not sell your personal or session data to third parties.
- All data transmissions are encrypted using industry-standard protocols (TLS 1.3).
Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration,
or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is
100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Opt-Out Rights
You may stop data collection at any time by:
- Disabling camera access in iOS Settings (live feedback will stop working)
- Not using the Coach
- Disabling analytics in the app settings
- Uninstalling the application from your device
- Requesting account and data deletion via support (email below)
Data Retention
We retain your data as long as you use the app. If you delete the app, local data is removed
from your device. Data synced to our servers, including Coach conversations, is kept until you
request deletion by contacting support. Face data is never retained. Subscription data is
retained by Apple for billing history in accordance with its policies.
Age Restrictions
Age Requirement: Orlumi is intended for users aged 16 and older. We do
not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 16. If you
believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will
take steps to delete such information.
Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:
- Access to your personal data and session history
- Correction of inaccurate data, including your name
- Deletion of your data (including session history, journey, and Coach conversations)
- Objection to data processing
- Data portability (a copy of your session history on request)
- Restriction of processing

International Data Transfers
Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. We ensure
appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your data in accordance with this Privacy Policy
and applicable laws.
California Privacy Rights
If you are a California resident, you have specific rights under the California Consumer Privacy
Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to
delete personal information, and the right to opt-out of the sale of personal information. We
do not sell personal information.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page
with an updated "Last Updated" date. For significant changes affecting how we use your camera,
face data, or Coach conversations, we will notify you through the app.
